Last year was a pivotal one for us, filled with groundbreaking advancements and new opportunities, especially in expanding our reach and enhancing our user experience.

A Milestone Year for Cloud Integration

One of our most significant achievements in 2023 was our integration with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This expansion means that GCP users can now easily onboard to Lucidity's auto-scaler, taking advantage of automated disk expansions and shrinks. This integration represents a major stride in our commitment to providing flexible, cloud-agnostic solutions to our customers.

Redefining Storage Management

Another highlight was the introduction of multi-mount point support, a feature that allows customers to onboard multiple volumes from a single instance. Customers benefit from optimized storage and more savings per instance.

We also introduced support for Windows root volumes, and large disk onboarding up to 10 TB. These features collectively transformed storage management, offering unparalleled scalability and flexibility.

Streamlining for Efficiency

We streamlined the onboarding process for a seamless user experience. Features like reboot-free onboarding for Windows 16 and 22 exemplified our focus creating the best possible user experience. 

For our Linux users, 2023 brought a major upgrade in data migration. The enhanced process now allows for continuous data writing even while disks are being onboarded, ensuring data consistency and eliminating the risk of data loss. 

Both these features have greatly streamlined the onboarding process on both Windows and Linux environments.

Customization at Your Fingertips

Understanding diverse storage needs, we rolled out customizable disk policies. Users gained control to tailor their storage management, setting their own utilization thresholds and sizes.

A Step Forward in Security and Autonomy

We heightened our focus on security with Private Link and self-hosting options. By routing all interactions between the Auto-scaler and the Lucidity agent over private networks, we eliminated the exposure to publicly accessible IP addresses.

Recognizing the diverse needs of our user base, especially those with stringent compliance and privacy requirements, we introduced the option to self-host Lucidity's auto-scaling product. This development allows users to run the entire auto-scaler within their own environment, ensuring that no data communication occurs outside their controlled space.

Lucidity in the AWS Marketplace

‍

Our integration with the AWS Marketplace was another leap forward. Now, AWS users can manage their Lucidity subscriptions directly through AWS, receiving a single, consolidated bill. This integration simplifies the billing process and enhances the overall user experience on AWS.

As we continuously seek to enhance accessibility and user experience, we're exploring similar avenues in other platforms. Let's just say that our friends on Azure might have something interesting to look forward to soon. Keep an eye out for updates in this space!
